Reflection March 6, 2012

Today I worked on my document. I was able to evaluate myself on each part of the stages on a scale of 1-6. I was also able to evaluate myself on my attitudes on each stage. I found out that I actually had a very good attitude throughout the whole stages. I never once had a negative attitude. I was always optimistic and I always tried my best on every stage. On a scale of 1-6, I would give myself a 5 because although I tried hard, I did not push myself to my fullest.

Reflection 2-27-12

Today I was able to finish up my Design and Plan. I was able to finish up my paragraph that I needed for my Gantt Chart. I also finished up some of my lyrics for my rap song that I needed. Today I used my thinking skills once again as I had to think to be able to evaluate my Gantt Chart and write a paragraph explaining how I am on track and how I am not. I would evaluate myself a 5 on a scale of 1-6 as I worked efficiently throughout the whole class period.

Reflection (2-13-12)

Today I was able to start creating a Gantt Chart. I was able to realize I am behind a little. I used my thinking skills today again, just like every other day. I also used my Balanced skills also because I had to work on different stuff at the same time. I would give myself a 5 on a scale of 1-6 because I was on task and working the whole time.

REFLECTION

Today I studied by playing Rags to Riches for an IB quiz. I won a million dollars in my first attempt, which meant I was ready to take the quiz. I took the quiz and got a 100 on it. It was a fairly easy quiz, and I had no trouble on it. I won myself a cookie, which tasted delicious. I then created a survey for my rap song. It had five questions in total. I had to use my thinking skills in order to decided which questions to ask the people that hear my rap song. I then had to finish up my comparison between Audacity and Wavepad.

REFLECTION

Today I used my Inquiring skills more as i had to be curious in order to know which program had better features. I compared Audicity and Wavepad, and i have decided that i am going to use WavePad. It is so simple that anyone can use it. I also had to use my thinking skills as i was writing about the simplicity, layout, and processes.

Investigate

Today I applied the IB learner profile "thinkers". I had to think in order to decide what I wanted to do. In the end, I decided to do a rap song. The only problem I am having right now is finding someone who can rap the song for me, as I am only going to create the lyrics. I also had to apply my thinking skills when I was looking for which program to use to edit my rap song. I still have to decide on wether to use WavePad or Audicity. They both seem like pretty good programs but I am leaning more towards Wavepad as it is more simple to use in my opinion. Today I used my thinking skills more, but I want to improve on my inquiring skills as i have to be more curious and i have to look more for details. On a scale of 1-6 on the Criterion F I think I deserve a 4. I researched well and i used my time wisely but i still need to improve more on some other aspects.
